COMPETITIVE DANCE TEAM PROGRAM

The DDS Competitive Dance Team program is for serious and highly motivated dancers who wish to explore the excitement of competition. Students are accepted into the program by audition or invitation only. Competitive students are expected to be motivated to learn, and committed to their dance classes. Students will compete in a minimum of two dance competitions and up to a maximum four dance competitions each season.

The studio has a total of four teams:

• Petite Team—Grades 2-4
• Intermediate Team—Grades 5-6
• Junior Team—Grades 7-9
• Senior Team—Grades 10-12

Being part of a competitive team can open up many doors to your child’s future and the skills that they learn about staying focused, managing time and completing goals can be used in all facets of their lives. A competitive environment teaches students dedication, how to become a team player and overall builds self-esteem and confidence.
